Pikes Peak Cog Railway

Take the Pikes Peak Cog Railway from Manitou Springs to the Visitors Center on the summit of Pikes Peak. Completed in 1891, the railway climbs 7,539 vertical feet in 9 short miles during its 3 1/2 hour round trip. Make sure you wear your layers, temperatures can range from warm at the base to below freezing on the summit, even in summer!

Garden of the Gods Park is a 1,323-acre registered National Natural Landmark with both scenic and recreational opportunities. Some of the most spectacular views of the Garden of the Gods Park are accessible from the Visitor & Nature Center terrace, which spans the entire front of the building. This iconic perspective of Pikes Peak, framed by the foothills and the red sandstone of the park, is simply breathtaking. The terrace is an amazing setting for a group photo!

US Olympic Training Center

The US Olympic Training Center tour includes a 12-minute film and 45-minute walking tour of the complex conducted by a current athlete. During the tour, visitors have the opportunity to view athlete training facilities including Sport Center Gymnasiums, weightlifting and wrestling facilities, the USA Shooting Center, Coaching & Sport Science, the Aquatics Center, and Sport Medicine.

Royal Gorge Bridge and Park

Discovered by a pair of brothers 130 years ago, the Cave of the Winds is open for everyone to explore! There are multiple tours to go on and tour guides are always happy to help guide you through the labyrinth of stalactites and valleys. Observe bats in their natural environment as you navigate with flashlights and lanterns. Don’t forget to ride the Bat-A-Pult and Terror-Dactyl, as well as balance through the Wind-Walker Challenge Course!
