Director’s Choice is proud to support the Foundation for Music Education, a not-for-profit organization committed to raising funds for the support of performing arts education and the proliferation of performing arts educators in schools.

It’s Just What We Do

Imagine taking your kids on the trip of a lifetime, without stressing about the details. At Director’s Choice, we know how crazy it can be to wrangle an orchestra of adolescents, so we set out to build a company that would partner with band directors to make traveling a breeze.

In 1996, a group of Texas music educators realized the travel services available to them didn’t understand their unique needs. To fix the problem, they founded Director’s Choice, a one-stop shop where group leaders could find a partner who would deal with the headaches of group lodging and group airline ticketing- as well as a knowledgeable guide to help them discover the ideal performance, festival, or travel adventure for their unique ensemble.

Now, over two decades later, we’ve built a loyal following of music educators across the country. They partner with Director’s Choice, year after year, for one reason: We don’t simply sell destinations. We offer experiences their kids will remember for the rest of their lives.

We believe in personally investing in you and your students. The HR/Finance Team is the major support system for our office handling all billing, payments, shipping, and personnel so that our time and energy is always client centered. Of course, when they are not balancing the books or hosting an office wide training, the HR/Finance Team feeds us with home cooked favorites every Friday during the Festival season. Reservations are encouraged.
