Outbound Marketing Assistant
Part-Time, Flexible Weekday Hours
Job Description: Looking for quick minds and fast fingers! We are seeking part-time Marketing Assistants to make outbound sales calls to our target clientele of music educators. Must be willing to make compelling cold calls and engage prospects on the phone, asking good questions to qualify potential leads. The marketing assistant is the first contact with our company; therefore we are seeking outbound callers who are customer-focused, detail oriented, and efficient. Weekly training, motivational contesting and targeted scripts and emails provided. Must be able to meet weekly productivity goals.
Responsibilities: • Work closely with Director of Marketing to gain insight into various strategies being used in an effort to increase the volume of incoming leads • Actively call and solicit potential clients • Engage prospective clients on the phone to qualify the client’s ability and interest in travel or festival performance • Write engaging emails and voicemail scripts to hook potential clients and begin the sales process • Assist with entering and cleaning data in the prospect database • Consistently meet and exceed productivity goals
Qualifications: • Required High School Diploma or GED. Preferred some college • Preferred call center or sales experience • Must be available to work at least 30 hours a week consistently Monday-Friday between 8a-5pm • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice • Understanding of company products, services, and policies • Proficiency with computers, especially with CRM software • Ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations • Strong time management and decision making skills • Adaptability and accountability
